1. Elongated Vintage Cushion Cut Diamonds
This ongoing 2024 trend is continuing up and we love it at Valentina Fine Jewellery - old cut diamonds, in particular elongated cushion and elongated old mine cut diamonds.

Antique oval, pear and moval cut diamonds with beautiful large culets and large facets have also joined the growing popularity. The elongated diamond shape of cushion and old mine cut diamonds, whilst rarer and harder to find really frames the fingers perfectly and is worth the wait - please kindly allow around 2 months to find that perfect stone.

We are also seeing an increase of newly cut diamonds polished into an antique shape, for those coupes who prefer a new diamond. 3. Geometric Diamond Shapes
Geometric shapes are picking up momentum. In 2024, the oval cut diamond was one of the more requested shapes. As we approach 2025, we are seeing more and more radiant diamonds and princess cut diamonds being requested and predict these will trend in 2025.
Asscher cut, square emerald cut and lozenge cut diamonds will be having their moment too with their crisp mirror like faceting and beautiful symmetry.

4. Sustainable Diamonds and Materials
In 2024 we saw a sharp rise in demand for sustainable diamonds, whether arising from ethical or financial consideration or allowing more freedom in terms of design and carat size, lab grown diamonds are here to stay.
At Valentina Fine Jewellery, our clients have a choice of natural diamonds, gemstones or lab grown diamonds. Every bespoke ring we hand craft is made with the same care and attention to detail regardless of your choice of centre stone.
Lab grown diamonds allow many couples to achieve the look they want without a large price tag. Whilst there are a lot of lab grown diamonds on the market, it is important to understand that the quality is not the same across the board, even if the certificates are identical. We only use the top 2% of lab grown diamonds, without tints or sparkle-reducing internal strain marks. Trust a diamond expert with your forever ring and not a faceless online retailer.
For many couples, lab grown diamonds and use of recycled gold make a positive impact on future sustainability.
5. Warm and Sunny 18k Yellow Gold
Bold yellow gold is making a strong come back in 2025. We saw this trend rising in 2024 with heavy yellow gold accent in fine jewellery.
Previously, most couples longed for the pristine whiteness of white gold or platinum, where as now we are seeing the return of warm beautiful 18k yellow gold and large chunky settings.
The designs in 18k yellow gold are unlimited. This strong metal is perfect for daily wear and requires little to no upkeep, unlike white gold for example which requires dipping to keep it shiny and white.
More and more clients are asking for bespoke engagement rings wrapped in this luxurious alloy, with twists and curves around the centre diamond and we believe the trend is here to stay.
6. Heirloom Jewel Resets & Ring Jackets
Embracing the beauty of family heirlooms, more couples are opting to incorporate repurposed or heirloom gemstones into their engagement rings.
