Anastasia, our founder's favourite views in the whole of Hong Kong is from Jardine's lookout. When Anastasia moved here in 2021, after spending 3 weeks locked up in a hotel quarantine during the pandemic, this was the first hike she did and to this day one of her favourite places to hike with the best views.
The views at Jardine's Lookout are 360 degrees. On one side you have the stunning views across the city and on the other you have rolling hills and mountains.

The hike itself is super easy, takes around 20-30 minutes depending on your pace and it's mostly steps. Bring a blanket, a picnic and a chilled bottle of champagne and propose with one of the best view in town.
Sunset Peak - A Moment Above the Clouds
Imagine standing atop Hong Kong’s Sunset Peak, surrounded by sweeping mountain vistas, the city far below, and the sun casting a golden glow over the landscape. This is the magic of Sunset Peak, an unforgettable setting for a proposal.
Sunset Peak, the third-highest mountain in Hong Kong, rises 869 meters on Lantau Island and offers a stunning escape from city life. Known for its dramatic sunsets, the peak provides 360-degree views of Lantau’s rugged terrain, the glittering South China Sea, and on clear days - distant islands.
This quiet mountaintop, with its waving fields of silver grass and small stone huts, becomes surreal at sunset. The It’s a place for memories that feels intimate, a perfect spot for a special proposal.
Autumn is the ideal season to propose here, as the cooler temperatures make for a pleasant hike, and the skies are often clear. Arriving at the summit about an hour before sunset lets you find a perfect spot, and the light as the sun sets is truly magical. Standing together in the warm, fading glow creates an atmosphere that’s as romantic as it is awe inspiring.
Reaching Sunset Peak requires a moderately challenging hike. The popular trail from Pak Kung Au on Tung Chung Road takes around two to three hours. While the trail is well marked, it includes some steep and rocky sections, particularly as you approach the summit. Sturdy shoes, water, and a flashlight for the return descent are recommended. For those seeking an extra adventure, camping overnight allows for an incredible sunrise after your proposal.
On The Sea Proposal
Hong Kong is synonymous with boats, or as we lovingly call them - junks. Proposing on a junk, a yacht or a sailing boat out in the water could be a memorable way to pop the question, just don't drop that ring into the ocean!
There are a multitude of boat packages available out there - from an all day junk boat with your friends and family, where you can pop the question and get to celebrate the occasion same day in a beautiful setting to romantic dinner and drinks private yacht charters or sail boat experiences.
And of course, the famous Aqualuna is an iconic symbol of Hong Kong.

As previously mentioned, Hutong is definitely a favourite for a proposal with a view with Aqua in the same building, just one floor away. Both have sensational views but are very different in decor.
Hutong’s romantic, lantern lit dark sultry interiors and breathtaking views of Victoria Harbour make it a classic choice for proposals. This restaurant specializes in upscale northern Chinese cuisine with a twist, serving dishes like crispy lamb ribs and spicy crab that are sure to impress. The interiors, designed with vintage Chinese decor and low lighting, add an enchanting, intimate atmosphere, perfect for a proposal by the window as the lights of Hong Kong sparkle beyond.
Located on the top floor of One Peking in Tsim Sha Tsui, Aqua offers one of the most iconic dining experiences in Hong Kong with floor to ceiling windows showcasing panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the city skyline. The furnishings are elegant and contemporary, with plush seating and dark wood accents adding a sense of warmth to the space. The open plan layout provides a spacious bright feel, with tiered seating to ensure every table has a view. Aqua has a wonderful rooftop cocktail bar, perfect for a sunset drink. Typically there is a DJ here on the weekends, creating a fun playful atmosphere to cheer that proposal.
